Assessment - Business Impact Analysis (BIA) or Risk Assessment (RA)

This service provides an in-depth review of critical organizational units to identify and prioritize risks and qualify and quantify their impacts on the continuity of operations.

Contingency Plans - Contingency and Continuity Plans

Depending on an industry's lexicon, the continuity plan or contingency plan is the business or operations recovery plan.  It lays out the predetermined responses to be undertaken to preserve continuity of operations and protect an organization's revenue, stakeholders, clients and reputation.  The findings from a BIA or RA form the foundation for this plan.

Operations Plan - Operations Concepts (Ops Con) and Processes

The operations plan adds meat to the framework of a continuity or contingency plan.  It involves the design, development, and validation of the integrated control, coordination, and communications processes necessary to implement those plans.

EOC - Emergency Operations Center

This is a multi-faceted service.  Where an EOC is warranted, CPOCS can further refine the operations plan for EOC use.  Additionally, CPOCS will assist a firm or agency revamp or launch an emergency operations center and test its processes and capabilities.

Support - Continuing Plans and Exercise Maintenance

This service consists of periodic reviews, updates and tests of the plans.  These reviews are conducted on an annual or semi-annual basis.  The frequency is determined by the organization's mission, staffing, or risk changes.
