Our Mission

To be the "Go To" company providing strategic planning, focused on, precluding, mitigating, or minimizing the impacts of disruptive events or disasters on a business or government agency's ability to deliver goods and services to their customers and clients.

To be the "Go To" company for organizations intent on converting risks to opportunities.

To be the enterprise looked to, for developing the operational plans, procedures, and infrastructure to assure solid, control, coordination, and communications over the organization during times of emergency.

To be the first firm considered for assistance in preparing an organization's response teams, so they are fully capable when called upon.

Company Profile

Our team is composed of highly skilled and experienced professionals with a broad-based understanding of current continuity and contingency issues as well as the best practices for both industry and government.  This is backed up with professional certifications from DRII (the Disaster Recovery Institute International) and PMI (the Project Management Institute).  We're dedicated to providing you with high-value, quick results, at a cost highly competitive in the business contingency industry.

We maintain our currency in continuity and contingency management by conducting our own research, attending professional association meetings, and participating in training programs, such as those offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The founders of CPOCS, Dr. William G. Chadick and Dr. Michael H. Flanagan, are highly trained and experienced in the areas of organization continuity planning and operations concepts.

Dr. Chadick conducted his doctorate in management research on business contingency planning.  Bill has put his training into practice by developing major operations centers for Department of Defense organizations, major telecommunications companies, and large municipal utilities for both daily and emergency operations.  He also is an experienced project manager and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  Because of this you can be assured our engagements with your company or group will conform to the highest ethical standards and our deliverables will be on target, on schedule and within budget.

Dr. Flanagan's original research for his doctorate in management focused on Virtual Consolidated Emergency Operations Centers.  Like Bill, Mike also has managed major risk and business continuity issues across multiple industries, large city and county governmental organizations, as well as within the Department of Defense.  Additionally he has an extensive background in systems management, software application development and testing, and project management.
