Dr. William G. Chadick, DM, PMPDr. Chadick's background includes US Army, Department of Defense, city government, as well as a commercial enterprise. His experience in these areas was varied between project management, risk analysis, contingency and continuity planning. He's also designed and implemented operations centers and. developed the operations concepts for major operations centers supporting major military commands as well as NATO Bill's commercial industry experience is primarily in the telecommunications industry. He was specifically responsible for developing the contingency plans to support the strategic business units in their Year 2000 mitigation efforts. He also designed and implemented the national emergency operations center for MCI, again in support of the Y2K Rollover. As a consultant to a city government, he developed standardized project management procedures and processes for the utilities department. His doctoral research was focused on contingency planning and continuity of operations.

Dr. Michael H. Flanagan, DMDr. Flanagan has a background that is similar to that of Dr. Chadick. His background includes US Army, Department of Defense, city government, county governments, well as the commercial arena. In the commercial area he has experience in working with major hospital organizations, manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, aviation, and utilities. He was in the US Army and was involved in developing, staffing and controlling the logistics elements of operations centers. Dr. Flanagan has had several years of experience in the development of major software application systems in the Department of Defense. His specific endeavors have included program and project management, process improvement, quality assurance, and strategic business planning. Dr. Flanagan's continuity of operations practice has been broad. He specifically has performed planning support for major city and county governments as well as international airports. His work also included a major hospital group in the cities of Baltimore and Washington, DC. Additionally, he has performed continuity planning consulting in manufacturing, telecommunications, and utilities companies. Dr. Flanagan's doctoral research was focused on original work encompassing the integration of technology for use in Virtual Consolidated Operations Centers.

Mr. Michael GriessMr. Griess has a strong background in telecommunications. He was in the executive management of a telecommunications providing services to major metropolitan areas in the Midwest. His work also included the design and implementation of the network operations center. He was instrumental in establishing continuity and contingency plans, as well as designing and developing emergency operations center and procedures. Michael's experience includes national level engineering with Bell Labs and Bellcore in designing the standards for components that compose the national telecommunications backbone. His background includes working at the critical business level for establishing and installing the switching network and fiber cabling for New York City and other major cities.. Mr. Griess's experience in maintaining full operation of services under any hazard was exercised when there was a loss of power in a major metropolitan area. This shut down the telecommunications services, but due to his plans, procedures, and methodologies resulted in less than a 10-second actual downtime for his organizations services.

Mr. C.J. McCutchen, CBCPMr. McCutchen has a strong background in the continuity and contingency planning in the banking, financial services, and the telecommunications industries. C.J. also has a background of military service in the US Army. McCutchen's experience in the military was focused on computer and IT operations centers. With this background, he served in the banking industry as the Chief Information Officer for the Northwest region of one of the premier national banking organizations. In this position he was primarily responsible for assuring the continuity of operations in supporting the services provided by the banks in the region and interconnectivity to the national network. C.J. is certified by the Disaster Recovery International Institute as a Certified Business Contingency Planner (CBCP).

Mr. Peter Shearston, PMPMr. Shearston has had a multifaceted career in progressive leadership and management positions associated with business development, project management, contracting, information technology, and customer service operations. One of the business groups he led, which provided most of the services and support for a large Air Force installation, was selected twice as the best of its type in the Air Force. During his military career he also served as a logistics officer for United States Central Command, where he helped develop and exercise sustainment operations and crisis command centers in the Middle East. These preparatory plans and undertakings provided the foundation for supporting operations such as Desert Storm. Peter also managed his various units' responses to a number of aircraft accidents and oversaw the war readiness preparedness and training of an Air Force major command’s field support and services teams. In the commercial sector Peter has worked as a project manager for a $1.5 billion Department of Defense nationwide data center consolidation project and as a principal contract administrator for a large telecommunications provider. In the first role he helped plan and execute 43 subprojects and coordinated the work of 30 other project managers; in the second role he developed, negotiated, and administered over 60 master corporate mainframe and midrange software license agreements, all major projects in their own right. In both roles he was successful in achieving each project's objectives and in maximizing returns for his firm and minimizing its risk exposure. Peter is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds graduate degrees in information technology, business administration, and public administration. |
